Reasons for vibration of brushless DC frameless torque motor during operation

With the continuous advancement of technology, brushless DC frameless torque motors have become the mainstream in many fields. This motor has the advantages of high power, long lifespan, low noise, and high efficiency, and has been widely used in household appliances, automobiles, robots, and other fields.

However, any type of motor will generate a certain degree of vibration during operation. This vibration may have a certain impact on the performance of the motor, so it is necessary to understand the reasons for the vibration during the operation of this motor.

Firstly, the rotor of a brushless DC frameless torque motor generates a certain amount of unbalanced mass during rotation. This imbalance can cause vibration in the motor, especially at high speeds. Therefore, in the process of motor design and manufacturing, it is necessary to optimize the structure of the motor, improve its balance, and reduce its vibration.

Secondly, the locator and bearings of the motor are also one of the main factors causing motor vibration. The quality and accuracy of these components will directly affect the operational performance of the motor. If the quality and accuracy of the locator and bearings are poor, it will affect the stability and balance of the motor, leading to an increase in motor vibration.

Then, the contour error and magnetic field imbalance of the motor are also reasons for motor vibration. When the contour error of the motor is large, the rotation of the rotor will be subject to resistance, resulting in motor vibration. The unbalanced magnetic field is caused by the inaccurate winding of the stator coil of the motor, resulting in uneven distribution of the magnetic field of the motor. This unevenness can affect the smoothness and efficiency of motor operation, resulting in vibration.

In addition, temperature is also one of the factors that affect motor vibration. When the motor works for a long time and the temperature is high, the material of the motor will expand or contract, causing changes in geometric shape and affecting the smoothness of the motor's rotation. Therefore, in motor design, it is necessary to consider the motor's heat dissipation system to ensure that the temperature is not too high, thereby reducing the possibility of vibration.

In summary, there are many reasons for the vibration of brushless DC frameless torque motors, but these reasons will not affect the performance of the motor. We only need to optimize the structure of the motor during its design and manufacturing, increase its balance and stability, in order to reduce the occurrence of motor vibration.
